Nose diving

Carpet washing: $$$

Trimming of hedge in front of the house. Under the sun, sweating, huffing and puffing. Hard on the arms: $$$$$$$

Mowing half of lawn with husband. As always, got the nasty parts around the gardens, trees and bushes, plus the rocky areas - under the sun, sweating, huffing, puffing and smiling because this time I did not forget to put on a sports bra... hehehe...It works much better: $$$$$$$$$$$$$

Turkey breast, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, home canned tomatoes and store bought raspberry cheese cake for dinner - half way done, half way thawed: $$$$$$$

And, it is only six past noon. How about that? Freaking good, right?

My dying old skinny butt!

Nose diving in to work this early in the morning is not fun. At all. I mean it. It sucks canal water.

Oh, I guess I'm kidding. Actually, it feels good to have it all done.

Now, since I am tired, I am going for a little nap.

And will be back later to visit with you all.

Love ya!

If it makes you feel any better, my husband and I did extreme lawn mowing today also. Thankfully, it wasn't hot. My thought are with you. Especially since you mentioned cheesecake. Relax and enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

It all DOES suck canal water, but a good nap is the reward at the end of it all!!! I hope you've had a nice day, and THANK YOU for your kind words on my blog!!

it reminds me of home, comfort and my boys!!!

When you've finished your nap would you come over here and do my work? Or at least come and kick me into gear?!

I love getting up in the early morning and getting things done - I'm always happier getting chores done BEFORE they need to be, rather than feeling like I'm under the gun. Then I can really enjoy the feeling of goofing off instead of being tortured by guilt...

What a great shot, Miriam. You are making me feel guilty. It was so humid this weekend, I didn't feel much like doing yard work. So I didn't do much yard work. :)
