Where they hide

By the pond is where they hide.

The snakes, the snapping turtles and the interesting insects.

The mosquitoes.

And, where there are mosquitoes, there are also the "helicopters". That's what we used to call them when we were kids, my brother and I.

In fact, they are Dragonflies.

I just came from outside. I needed to do my new-camera-learning homework.

And I got one! In fact, I got two of them.

Distracted. Bellies full, perhaps. Taking a nap. Who knows.

Here they are:

I thought he looked neat, with his "pilot goggles", holding on to the tiny bit of a tiny twig.

This one must be a General. His "uniform" is more impressive.

Off to prepare Chinese for dinner.

But first, play some Skip-Bo with Gordon. I hope I don't have to extract his foot off my butt again this time! He is good, but he cheats!!!!

Love ya'll.
