We are prepared

The snow storm is coming our way. I think we are prepared.
The generator is working fine.
The wood is stacked high inside the garage.
We have enough kerosene for the lamps, and food in the freezers/pantry both for peoples and critters.

Hubby bought a new snow shovel for me. For me? Did I understand it right? Yes. For me.

Hubby is going to bake many loaves of bread. Yes, you understood it right. He is doing it.

If I am the one shovelling the snow from the driveway, he is the one baking the bread. Right? And, depending on the amount of snow I have to shovel, he will also be cooking dinner for a long time!

And there better be no complaints!

Love ya!

I can always count on you for a great laugh! Loved that sparrow photo to prove your point! I'm with you - I'd rather be outside shoveling and doing yard stuff than be in the kitchen! :)

Keep warm and eat lots of your hubster's lovely bread (you'd better do a little bit of shoveling to make sure you get some!).

Cute little sign - The Lange Family!

Sounds like you are prepared, LOL! When is it supposed to hit there? We have a day of rain ahead - the last I heard. We are NOT ready, but we did go grocery shopping!

Love the bird picture!

I've always believed the better prepared you are, the less likely the storm is to happen. So hopefully you won't have TOO much snow to shovel!

Here's a tip from my chiropractor, who I've been seeing regularly since OUR last snow storm...watch your head and neck when you shovel. Lots of people are careful with their backs, but then hurt their necks or shoulders because they fling their heads back when they throw the snow away. So please be careful, and have a nice warm epsom salts bath when you're done!

And why didn't I know your name is Miriam, too? No wonder you're such a lovely person!

Hello Mariam, I just love the little picture of your family... critters and all. Adorable! I love to see a man in the kitchen. He looks like he knows what he's doing... so you'll be in for a real treat after he does the baking. Don't work too hard shoveling... maybe you'll just get icy rain and rain like a lot of us got. Regardless... hunker down and enjoy!!

The snow shovel is a better deal then making bread; I would know ;D...

and tell him you also need accessories to match your new shovel - diamond earrings and a cute ski bunny outfit that would match would work...!
