I think your wordless Friday is a fantastic idea especially after a tiring day like yours! I think you should do a wordless Friday every week! By the way, your porch looks like a haven for tired grocery store workers!
Sorry you had a rough day yesterday. Thanks for visiting my blog. In answer to your questions, the silver cow thing is a timer for cooking etc, I bought it from Tesco supermarket a couple of years ago, I don't know if they still have them or not. The plate in the dresser is a Wedgewood design, it was a gift from my neighbour and friens next door a couple of Chritmases ago. It's a good job I didn't photograph the floor of the kitchen, flour and bits of kitche paper everhwhere!
sorry I confused you ... I have to put the screen of my laptop flat sometimes as it flickers so much. It's the only way I can get a picture. So when I said I was laying "you" flat to read your blog I meant my laptop screen !
