Don't take me so seriously
I saw it! I did! A snow flake. And it came down, swirling in the breeze, dancing and floating, until it reached a pile of dried leaves on the ground. And it disappeared. Oh... frustrating, isn't it? Poor thing.
Looking out the deck door, the backyard seems so desolate. So sad. If we had some snow (not a lot, please), at least, there would be that lovely white carpet covering the ugliness of this dry and colorless view. Oh, well.
So, peoples, you are all enjoying your Christmas, right? I do hope so. I mean it.
As for us, we are almost completely happy that this season is over.
I've been listening to Christmas Carols, while at work, for a month and a half already, and I cannot stand it anymore. This is true!!
There is only so much "I'm dreaming of a whiiiiiiiiite Christ maaaaaasssssss...." one can put up with. Or, "I'll be hoooooooome for Cristmasssssss..." !
- Well, get going, you pain in the ass singer, and maybe you will actually get there!
I am a animal lover but, lately, I just wanted to shoot "Rudolf the red nose reindeer...". And I wanted to stuff the "Jingle bells" with newspaper.
Oh... the pleasures of getting old and grouchy...

I'm right there with you on the Christmas carols! I even started bringing my iPod with me to work and listening to it during lunch just to get a break from them!!
No snow here in Northern Virginia, but it's expected to roll in--I do love snow, but don't want to be snowed in, I have enough of that last year! I do hope you've enjoyed your day!!
Had a smattering of snow here this a.m. that melted and it rained a bit, this afternoon we had some flurries again, it was pretty, but not enough to cover the ground or anything.
Yep, just a couple of calls yet and Christmas is over, as far as I am concerned - now if they would just stop the awful commercials on the tv...
I have had enough.
Thats a particularly horrible cat!!!! xxxxxxxxxx
Well if they start Christmas off in October I get fed up with Christmas jingles too !
