The other day, I saw a set of coffee mugs on the net. And I fell in love with them.
What is it about falling in love with something that we actually do not need? As it happens, we start needing them so bad that it is difficult to think of anything else. That's WRONG, right? I think so. The less we need, the bigger the chances for us to be happy. Well, I thought I needed them but I was not unhappy. I was just needy.
I looked and looked at them. The price was quite all right, for eight of them muggies... oh, so purdy... I thought the coffee would even taste much, much better in them. And I looked a little more, kind of flirting with them.
I don't make much money at my two days a week job. And I feel I have to save to contribute for the house's expenses. We are not rich but we lack for nothing, I should say.
Except for a new set of coffee mugs so the coffee will taste better.
Coffee in the US does NOT taste like the coffee from my Brazil. Here, it does not fill the whole house with that great smell as ours used to, for hours! They mix too much crap to it - Brazilians never even heard of chicory, for example. Yuk!
Hubby saw me and heard me moaning and sighing as I stared at the laptop screen.
A week ago, the UPS man stopped at our house. He did.
Take a look:
On top of the kitchen counter, my brand new coffee mugs! Aren't they adorable, beautiful and precious?

Oh yah, I can see it. You most definitely needed those! I can see the attraction!
Oh they are lovely. I could just drink a proper coffee from one of those! xxx
yes they are great ! Do you use a coffee machine with coffee beans ? you could get a lovely aroma & taste then. I only drink one coffee a day so it's instant. They tell you to have coffee beans roasting and bread in the oven here if you are trying to sell your house as it gives a lovely homely scent.
