I feel like saying it today. Husband is hiding under the bed. The dogs went to the basement. The kitties disappeared.
I feel kind of good, but I do want to say it.
That thing was a complete, total CIRCUS!
It is 2011 people. That's the year we are living now. 2011!
The world is on the verge of getting totally screwed up.
Stupid wars are happening. Brutal people are killing innocents.
The waters are polluted. And so is the air. And so is most of the food we eat.
Strange, incurable diseases are popping up, and destroying young lives.
The weather is going crazy. Earthquakes. Forest fires. Tornadoes. Floods.
The bees are dying, so are the fish. And the birds.
People are dying of starvation.
There is a nuclear power plant still messed up in Japan. Just "yesterday" thousands of people died over there!
The world economy is going down the drain. Jobs are disappearing. People are still loosing their homes.
We are all walking on a thin board, on top of an abyss. And the board is kind of swaying side to side.
Damn!
The CIRCUS has now moved to Rome...

i think somehow that centuries ago, someone was screaming the same things - that the world was coming to an end, that wars and disease were everywhere, people dying, terrible things all around. somehow we keep on keeping on...
The world is a scary nasty place and i worry for the future that my kids have inherited. But it's all we have, and I guess we must just do our bit to make it better, and enjoy what we can. And there is PLENTY to love and enjoy and cherish.
Focus on all these good things, girl.
