Far from home

From Van Buren, Arkansas. At the Hampton Inn Hotel. On the way to Fort Smith tomorrow.

Why? What for? How come?

Time to renew my "Green Card" which has never been green. In fact, it is white. It would even be pretty, if my ugly face was not there, staring at whoever looks at it.

Ugly, and getting worse every year. Oh, well...

Neat hotel, though. Big room, king size bed just like the one at home. Clean, nicely decorated.

I am tired.

Will write more when we get home.

Think positive for me (for us), please.

Any business with INS can get a little complicated, confused and nerve wracking.

sweet pea, you need to stop calling yourself ugly! that wicked grandmother of yours did such a number on you! i don't care if you are wrinkled and purple, you'd still be beautiful to me based on personality alone!

Sweet T, you are the most loving, most tender and sweetest person I've ever met. Even, if only through the net. What a pearl you are!

Thank you. You make my heart so warm!
Love ya!

I don't really understand all this Green Card and INS thing, but it's clearly something that is quite stressful for you (both), and I am sending positive thoughts along to you to ease the process along.

And YOU ARE NOT UGLY! Blimey, how many times you gotta tell a girl?! Wrinkled and purple? You'd be a pin up model in the Prune World. Change of career, methinks.......;0)

i think you're a lovely shade of gray, and fur tends not to wrinkle at all! your head is pretty oval though...it's kind of weird. maybe if you flipped over it would round out some.

good luck renewing and have a safe trip back!
